Verdict

AURIO (2) extended his long run of strong results when a closing second over this course and distance last start. Will enjoy a nice sit behind genuine pace and he will be hard to resist late with Purton steering again. SOMELOVEFROMABOVE (10) won consecutive Class 4 sprints then progressed to a Class 3 last time and was strong late, finishing third over this course and distance. Subsequent trial winner who is sure to be competitive once more. MOTOR (11) has impressed since coming to Happy Valley meetings, winning two back then battling on well for third over this trip four weeks ago. Gets the fence this time and will be tough to hold out when presented. MATTERS MOST (7) ran a much better race to fill a minor placing here most recently. Races off a four-week break again so another big run looks on the cards. SOVEREIGN FUND (4) enjoyed being ridden close to the pace last start and improved on recent efforts. Can figure again.
