Verdict

Plenty of chances in a deep form race. VIGOR EYE (6) stalked the pace then went home a little too well in a comparable race to this three weeks ago, his maiden win after six attempts. That was the first time Purton had the mount and he stays on. Will race handy and can keep the momentum going. YOUNG ARROW (1) enjoyed the step back to Class 4 company when beaten just 0.3 lengths by Vigor Eye here at this trip last time out. Enjoys a 2.5kgs weight swing this evening which might make the difference. WINNING NOW (12) set a strong tempo and was only caught on the line when fresh from a one-month let-up recently at this track and trip. Draws in a lot closer and looks a great chance to break through at start eight. SMART FIGHTER (5) has been freshened up since leading all the way to win a comparable race here five weeks ago. Loves the 6f at Happy Valley so must be considered. LEADING AGILITY (11) might be ready to peak after two runs back from a spell.
