BITS SUPERSTAR (6) led them up last start over this course and distance and was only caught late in the race. Purton now hops on board replacing the apprentice hoop in a big push for his chances. He's a third-up winner in the past and everything points towards a forward showing. NEVER SETTLE (5) landed a little worse than midfield on debut but closed off well to be 1L off the winner on debut at this track and trip. He was big odds there, but this looks to shape similarly and he turned in a strong figure there. Can go a couple better with improvement expected. GOLDEN LUCK (10) sat outside the leader and couldn't get the job done, finishing 0.3L off the winner. Drops half a kilo off that effort and a bold showing is on the cards. SONIC PURSUIT (11) ran well fresh and his recent trial was solid. Wide draw is a query but he's a big chance with improvement likely.
