CALIF (2) has been a top international performer for some time, and after missing the placings when resuming two runs back, he then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1m. He will be close to his peak fitness now, and with Christophe Soumillon in the saddle, he will be the one to beat here. PHANTOM FLIGHT (1) went to the paddock after scoring at his only appearance last prep four months ago over 1 5/16m in the LR Diamond Stakes at Dundalk All Weather.
