Verdict

SHEZ SHAMUS (7) gave a good sight in front here 2 weeks ago when battling on strongly once headed to finish third. That was her first sign of form this prep, and stepping up from 7f to 1 ¹/16m is the key this time. Hard to beat, especially from a superior gate. RED LADY (6) resumed from her spell in great shape, winning fresh up at the end of May, and then repeating the dose by a nose on this course nearly 4 weeks ago. This is no harder, and with the same weight to carry, the hat-trick beckons. AL PASSO (5) had been showing pace when leading and fading badly in his first 2 starts on turf, but then turned his form on its head when racing on this surface for the first time a fortnight ago, blitzing his rivals by well over 8 lengths. A repeat of that effort would have him right in the finish again. WONDERBOY (4) was game in defeat as the favourite here last time out, and he should be right at his peak fitness now. Follow your money.
