COVERED IN GOLD (7) has been racing well from the back line including a Kilmore win two back. Registered another strong performance last start when he was first over the line at Melton but was relegated to third on protest. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw but he has the ability to test this field. THE WICKED WARRIOR (4) produced another strong effort last start when he led and battled on well for a 1.1m second, making it back-to-back placings at this circuit and distance. Could go one better. THE TRAWLER (3) didn't do a bad job when a 2.8m fourth here last time out to follow a Shepparton win. Can make an impact again. IMON (8) deserved the last-start maiden win at Kilmore following consistent form. Draws wide but could work through his grades now.
