MISTER RAUDONIKIS (10) finished 5 metres from the winner in second at this track over 1 ¹/16m last start at his first career run. This looks a sterner test than last time but he is better for that last hit-out and good enough to take this out. MARYVILLE ALFIE (8) produced another strong performance last start when he battled on bravely to finish second over 1 ¹/16m at Coolamon, adding to a good third on debut here the run prior. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but is good enough to win a race of this calibre. AMERIKIN RUNA (4) is a two-year-old gelding from the D A Kennedy stable on debut. Looks to have some talent based on a recent trial win. Makes plenty of appeal. NICE WON GARY (5) is worth another chance after a last-start seventh over 1 ¹/16m at Albury two weeks ago. May earn some minor money.
