Verdict

KYORETSU (7) was brave in finishing second after working two runs ago then delivered at his latest appearance at Mildura, scoring comfortably by 21 metres after being on the pace throughout. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but the last performance was impressive. HELLOVATIME (8) did a good job for fourth last start at Cranbourne, beaten 2.8 metres. No harm in drawing here with the sprint lane to rely upon. Contender. OWEN THE SAINTS (4) was held up late at Melton last time out but has performed well at this venue before. CALF PEN (5) has been producing some good efforts from back row draws including a win two back at Mildura.
