WATTS UP THE HILL (4) was let down by manners as favourite last start but has won a trial since. Recorded a win and a placing from his previous two outings here so is up to this if he gets it right. CHIEF RUNNINGCLOUD (10) put the writing on the wall when runner two back before overcoming a ¼f handicap to score at this circuit and distance last week. Draws out but with even luck could go on with it. LOTUS LOUISE (7) enjoys a big class drop off his recent attempts at the Brisbane carnival and owns a good record here. VALTINO (9) raced parked and faded last week but is capable of better having scored at this circuit and distance last month.
