Verdict

CASHLA BAY (4) got well back early but charged home to just miss when 2nd-up at Timaru last start. Great record at this trip and wasn't disgraced at Listed level last season. Take beating. QUEEN OF SHEBA (11) trailed the leader from the pole draw and drove through to perhaps hit the front but condition gave out ¼f off the post when first-up at Timaru last start. Up to 7f but should be right there again. CHAMPAGNE DIBLU (2) got back beyond midfield but made up a lot of ground to be within 2L of the winner last start. Has won 3rd-up before. Respect. PHAZED (13) led most of the way but was swamped final stages behind Hello Hayley over this trip here 2 starts back. Got back from the wide draw over 6f last time. Better placed here. DESERT MYSTIC (3) got a mile back when fresh in the Hello Hayley race here and made ground nicely in the straight. Improver.
