LETSCHAT (2) got back last from the outside gate but charged home wide out for 2nd to Omega Sprint here last start. Back ½f and has a wide gate again but hard to look past. ATAAHUALUCIDDREAM (1) got back to midfield and took a while to wind up but emerged to grab 2nd on debut at Timaru earlier this month. Should have taken benefit from that experience. VAULTIQUE (12) led from a handy gate and gave a sight but was reeled in by Omega Sprint and Letschat over 6 ½f here last start. Drawn nicely again and can figure. SWEYWIND (5) two trials for a win and 2nd here as a 2yo last season. Led most of the way and the rider didn't move when 2nd in a Timaru trial recently. Keep safe. NOT ENOUGH CARATS (4) improved in his 2nd trial when jumped well and sat without cover to the turn but found plenty to score with ears pricked over 5f at Timaru October 13. Consider.
