Verdict

QUEEN OF SHEBA (11) showed plenty of pace and stuck on gamely to finish in the money in all of her 3 starts to date in her initial campaign in the spring. She resumes without a trial, but has a reasonable draw, and with Tina Comignaghi in the saddle, she is the one to beat. KIRCHMEYER (3) was a short-priced favourite here on debut and ruined any chance he had by racing greenly throughout. He had won a trial well enough before that, and he should go close to making amends in this. Follow your money. RABBIT HOLE (5) was runner-up when resuming at Riccarton, and then had her chances extinguished there when copping a severe check in the run home that day. A wide gate might not be a disadvantage if the track is wet, and she is worth another chance. HARD ATTACK (6) ran the race of an improver when finishing fourth here nearly 3 weeks ago. She is having no luck with her barrier draws, but if the track is wet, it may be a blessing in disguise. Include. ADMIRALTY (2) has top 4 claims in this.
