NZ - Ashburton - Race 2

CANTERBURY FLIGHT (1) has gone close to cracking her maiden win in her last couple of starts at Riccarton on a pair of heavy tracks over a mile. The blinkers go on for the first time, and that may be just what she needs to go one better. OFFLINE (2) has raced her way into form and battled on strongly when finishing runner-up over 6f at Riccarton just over 3 weeks ago. She is back out to a mile, and as long as the track is wet, she can figure in the top 3 again. CONTEST (4) is still building up her fitness levels and fought on well enough to finish third at Riccarton 8 days ago. She is meeting a modest field here and should be included in all top 4 combos. RED STAR RHONDA (12) has been a touch plain in her last couple of starts, and could be suited to her wide gate here if the track is wet. She ran a couple of sound races earlier in her prep and is worth including in this. ANDINA (11) was not far away in her initial prep, and she has won a trial since her last start in the spring.
