Verdict

WANDERIN CHARM (7) ran on strongly from midfield in first look at this trip 2 back then faded out after a handier run last time as favourite. Vet check revealed slow recovery and elevated heart rate so pay to forgive latest. Can make amends. WHITE PALACE (8) ran on well out wide from beyond midfield over this trip at Timaru last start. Building nicely and is a danger here. IMPERIAL THINKER (1) led from a handy gate when up to this trip for the first time last start at Timaru but was collared at the 1f mark and boxed on OK thereafter. Better for the experience. NOT A DOUBT (2) has made ground from the rear in all 4 starts to date, the latest when up to this trip at Timaru. Respect again here. COSTANZA (4) got well back when up to this trip at Oamaru 2 starts back and worked home OK for 6th less than 5L from the winner. Has place claims.
