Verdict

CASTLEBAR ROAD (2) was quickly into stride and went on to score by a nose last time out at Dubbo to make it two on the bounce. Drawn to do the same and will prove tough to reel in again. DIS IS HEAVEN (4) is a distance specialist and has run well fresh without winning. Cannot leave out of the main chances. INAZUMA BOY (1) is a consistent gelding resuming for the Northam yard. Was in terrific form last campaign and he returns in that sort of form he'll be right there at the business end. SHAGGY (3) clung on to finish second last start over 5f at Taree, beaten half a length as favourite. This doesn't look much tougher and on his best form he is right in contention. CRESTA RUN (9) hit the frame two starts ago at Muswellbrook but ran below par last time. Capable of bouncing back.
