POWER OF SUCCESS (4) raced just off the speed then battled on fairly to finish fifth last start over 1 m at Toowoomba. Raced here earlier in the prep and was beaten narrowly. Form a bit patchy of late but in a modest affair he looks well placed to salute. Veteran BILL PEYTO (11) dropped back to a BM50 last time out and collected a ninth career win over today's trip at Coonabarabran. Placed at three of five runs here at this distance. Nicely in with the claim and should give a good account again. MARALAGO (13) settled near the tail and only got warm when the race was all over in a 7f BM58 at Dubbo recently. Better placed out to the mile and from a nice draw should get all the favours. THE GREAT ARMADA (6) turned in an eye-catcher at his latest appearance over 7f at Warren. Three-time winner at the mile - leave him out at your peril. MEDDLESOME (3) returned to the winner's circle at Gunnedah last time. An extra 1f should pose no problems.
