Verdict

HARAS (3) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found the front, leading for most of the way before fading late. Is sure to have come on with that run under her belt and will prove tougher to peg back this time. DEVILISH SUN (1) couldn't live up to market expectation fresh but did warm nicely late to grab third. Better for that run and is still lightly raced. Open to sharp improvement. ZAVY'S SUN (2) resumes and is having his first outing under new trainer Peter Sinclair. Has trialled well in readiness and is among the main chances. IDOL BYE (4) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found one better over 5 ½f at Armidale. Has upside and must be respected.

Second run back. First-up after seven months did the work up front then tired 7th of 14 at Scone 2&3yo Mdn on May 15 over 5 ½f, 4.5 len behind Cormier carrying 127lbs at $51. Previously second-up ran last in a small field at Scone Ctry Mdn-Sw on October 24 over 5f, 5.5 len behind Shenandoah River with 121lbs at $5. Fitter for that run and expected to be in the finish this time.
