HARD SHELL (4) gets his chance first-up from a four-month spell under new trainer Stirling Osland. Yet to fill a placing in eight starts but was competitive last prep in provincial races. Blinkers go on for this soft first-up target. Expect a bright return. POST MARK (12) settled midfield then made up good late ground to finish second on debut over 6 ?f at Muswellbrook. Draws a nice gate and the extra trip is right up his alley. Looks the big threat in a race of few chances. SILVER DREAM (13) travelled midfield and struggled to improve at her latest run over 6f at Tamworth. Might be worth one more chance over a bit more ground third-up. DEKKA'S LATEST (2) led but tired to finish third when resuming over 6 ?f at Muswellbrook recently. Fitter for that run and may prove tough to peg back. That looks to be the race with HIDDEN DETAIL (5) next best, aided by the inside draw.
