AU - Kalgoorlie - Race 5

TWIST OF GOLD (10) was trending the right way before a disappointing effort most recent over 6f here. She comes back to 5 ½f which looks a big tick and she draws a much better gate this time around. Remains down in the weights and can bounce back to her best form. CLOSE AT HAND (2) missed by 0.9L when fresh over the 6f journey here last time out. He's a second-up winner in the past and Fiore hops back on board now, having won 3/5 when partnering the gelding. Needs some luck from the draw but with improvement expected, he'll be hard to hold out. PRAWNS ELEVEN (1) bumped into a good winner last start but he was best of the rest over 6 ½f. Riordan's claim comes in handy and he's unbeaten at this track and trip. Will take beating despite the big weight. SURE THING (5) can improve second-up and with an inside barrier. SCIENCE DEGREE (6) won't be far away if he can hold his form.
