Verdict

NAIFAH (10) led for the judge but was swamped late in the Helen Coughlan over this distance at Eagle Farm last start. Drops 2.5kgs under today's scale and should strip fitter at the third run back. Worth another chance. CIGAR FLICK (3) scored an excellent win first-up in the Listed Bright Shadow then didn't quicken as expected last time in the Coughlan. Gets a cosy run from an inside gate. The heavier the track the better for this mare. MANOLO BLING (11) has been finding the line with gusto this prep. Came from near the tail to get up for second most recently over 5f at Eagle Farm. Ideally placed out to 6f so with a soft run assured out of the inside gate she is going to be hard to hold out. SILVER WEDDING (16) was highly impressive first-up over 5f at Eagle Farm. Doesn't draw as well today and her second-up form isn't flattering. Still deserves some consideration. SPRING LEE (7) was racing well in NSW before a plain effort in the Coughlan last time. Can bounce back.
