Verdict

ADRANOS (3) was coming off a seven-week let-up when safely held in fifth last start over 5 ½f at this circuit. Raced once over today's trip and was narrowly beaten last prep at Doomben. Looks a terrific chance with that last outing under the belt. OCTOBER MANIFESTO (7) collected his maiden win two back at Beaudesert then took a quantum leap to Saturday metro company last time and wasn't disgraced over this distance at Doomben. Beautifully placed to return to winning ways. SILENT THINKER (1) was lining up for only the second time when a dogged winner over 6f here 16 days ago. Meets some better types this time but he has loads of upside. TRANSGRESS (9) was too bad to be true at Eagle Farm last start. The nine-day back-up is a positive sign from the stable that he can shrug off that bad performance. TULONG (2) did a fair job here at this trip when resuming last start. Plenty of improvement to come.
