Competitive. SIR MAURICE (4) gives away starts but is busting to win and the longer sprint suits. Found a couple better over 6f at Sunshine Coast last time and his best figures measure up. Thompson sticks aboard and that's a push for his chances. LUDIK (2) spiked his numbers winning a 58 here over this distance digging deep. The inside gate may not be ideal but he's a decent chance to repeat. YEAH COPY (7) has been nudged out this track and trip his last two. Draws awkwardly again but will be right in it with average luck. CHICAGO KING (1) resumes at Eagle Farm and needed the outing. He's placed 3/3 second-up and will keep improving for a leading yard. Draws out and will need some luck. FARNESINA (11) was comfortably accounted for over 6f at Eagle Farm but prior led and won her Maiden comfortably at the Sunshine Coast first up. Will present fitter back in grade and maps for a soft run. Won't be far away.
