Verdict

Many of these tipped to improve off their last runs. SUMMIT (3) resumed here over 6f and was poorly away, always well back and in traffic when a close-up eighth. Fitter and extra trip a plus. Will improve sharply. Same goes for RUPESTRIS (2) who returned from a break on heavy going at Port Macquarie and struggled in the ground. Fitter and this far more suitable. YOUCOMPLETEME (5) returned from a long spell here and sat behind the pace before fading in the final stages. Will be far fitter for the first run in a long time. IN GREAT SPIRIT (7) is better than the last run on the Sunny Coast and did win only try course and distance. Gets a chance to atone. CLUBHOUSE (1) was strong here last time and looks overdue for a win.
