Gets in well with the 4lbs claim and may be able to position handier today. CANTARITO (5) gave away a big start this track/trip three weeks ago but had missed a nose in a Sunshine Coast 70 over 1 ?m prior. That stacks up, and she finally draws an inside barrier. Thompson is reunited. NOIRE EMPEROR (2) resumed in solid order at Doomben and drew wide and settled last in a 12-horse field at Eagle Farm, beaten 3.2L. He has more to give, and the step up to 1 m suits. Will be doing his best work late.
