Verdict

TOO DARN QUICK (10) couldn't go the frantic pace in the early stages of an 4f scamper at this track on debut last start but knuckled down late to get up for third. Far better placed out to this trip and with that race experience on board looks very hard to toss. TRUE INTENT (2) has improved at each run in his brief career. Raced handy and gave plenty under pressure but was edged out over 5 ½f here last time out. No surprise if he was able to go one better today. The speedy ANOTHER CHAMPERS (4) is back after a 19-week break. Won on debut at Rockhampton then led for home but weakened over this distance at the Gold Coast at her only other appearance. Big recent trial winner who just needs a bit of luck from the wide gate to be highly competitive. PANEMORFOS (3) led all the way to score the narrowest of wins on debut over this trip at Beaudesert last time. Draws the car park which is the only concern. HIT A LICK (6) can run a cheeky race first-up from a 20-week spell.
