LIFE AFTER LOVE (3) looms as the immediate threat after running third in a BM65 at Doomben, only beaten 1.1L. Her 5 ½f record reads well enough to keep her firmly in the contest. MEET GEORGE (2) has placed at all three attempts over this track and trip and should be ready to start hitting her straps. Suffered some interference at Eagle Farm last start when finishing midfield, and could have finished closer. Can play a role off a 37-day freshen. QUANTUM OVERDRIVE (17) returned with a bang at Kilcoy and now gets a key switch in Maloney. Not dismissing.
