OUTTA REEF (6) debuts for the premier metro stable and has had a string of trials. Found a place at Doomben last time and Maloney's engagement suggests she's here to win. Jumps from and inside barrier and the betting will be key. OUR MATE LOCKY (2) resumed out of an outside gate at Eagle Farm and caught the eye late beaten less than 3L. He has more to offer and finally draws a half-decent barrier. The longer sprint suits and he has claims. BENT BRIDGE (3) was plain on the poly and then stepped up to 7f at Eagle Farm and was only beaten 2L at big odds. Thomson is a key jockey engagement replacing the 7lbs apprentice and will likely push him along. FLASHMASTER (10) resumes and went close in a recent Doomben trial. Duric sticks aboard from that and will be looking to boot him up from the inside barrier. No surprise if he returns improved.
