Verdict

KINDRED (6) has found the maiden win elusive but it certainly hasn't been without trying. Just missed in a sit-and-sprint at Eagle Farm, suspect she's better suited when the engine gets revving early. Doubt the added trip will bother her and she can get the job done this time. HIGHLAND KITTY (5) is the obvious danger after she was held up and checked when beaten a head at Toowoomba. Has placed at all three tries around this distance and has handled wet ground consistently. Newman's 4lbs claim also makes things a bit easier. PANZER READY (2) is improving quickly for a lightly raced seven-year-old and had genuine interference when finishing third in the same Toowoomba maiden. First look at this sort of trip but has more to offer. WHISKEY WARRIOR (3) has a placing at this trip and his Toowoomba second reads well enough, but he's yet to prove himself on wet ground. Keeping safe for a minor spot.
