THRILL SEEKER (8) was beaten 4L at long odds in the same contest. She's led them up narrowly beaten over 4 ¼f at Gatton prior and has the winkers on for the first time. Maps well and following a brief freshen she can go a lot better. ALMOND GOLD (1) resumes and the market suggests she's pleasing and will race sharply. Has a low gate and a handy 7lbs and will get every chance. JADA ROSE (6) debuts and she profiles well. Keep an eye on the betting moves.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.
