WALKING PAINTING (1) last appeared when he showed pace but tired in a BM88 over 1 ?m at Randwick six weeks ago. Took out a tick-over trial at Rosehill subsequently. Six-time winner at the trip who has the class to take care of this field. VORACIOUS (3) settled worse than midfield then attacked the line well to get up for fifth over 6 ¾f at the provincials last time out. At his best over the mile and will be peaking at the fourth run back from a spell. LOCKDOWN GAMBLE (4) raced wide without cover so his last start failure in town might be worth overlooking. Nicely in on 55kgs and has won here before so he can figure in the finish without surprising. ACHESON (5) went forward and tried very hard but found one better in the Narrandera Cup over today's journey three weeks ago. Big chance in a race that looks no tougher. ZOUNA (2) caught the eye late at Randwick last start and is open to further improvement at the fourth run of the campaign.
