Verdict

COLLY BLUE (11) met with good support on debut last start over 5f at Gunnedah and did well to get up for second after being shuffled back through the middle stages of the race. Better for that experience and an extra ½f helps the cause. BADGERS BRIDGE (4) led and looked home only to be nailed near the line last time out over 5f at Warren. Doubt there is much improvement to come at the fifth run of the prep but if she manages to hold her form another big run is on the cards. AZUCAR (1) has made progress at each appearance this prep, the latest offering a close third over 6f at Warren. Needs a bit of luck from the wide alley but cannot be taken lightly. SPEED OF THOUGHT (9) was handy on the turn but tired in the final stages first-up over 5f. Strips fitter and can offer more resistance this time. BRUTAL TO THE MAX (5) has had plenty of chances but might sneak into the top four.
