Verdict

ROCKABYE ROXY (14) made it four second placings from as many runs this prep when she charged home late but missed by a neck over 7f at Warren last start. Looks perfectly placed out to the mile for the first time. Deserves this. REGALADE (4) turned in a career-best performance last time out when he closed hard to get up for second over 7f at Warren. Sure to be hard to hold out over an extra 1f here. GREY BELIEF (11) settled just off the lead but couldn't pick up when it mattered last start over 1 ¹/16m at Grafton. Cherry ripe after three runs back from a spell and this is a far easier maiden than the other three she has contested this prep. TEXAN STAR (5) ran a cheeky race out in front at the Sapphire Coast recently. A chance here if able to dictate terms. C'MON WICKSY (2) is new to this trip but found the line well at the Canberra Acton last time out so it should suit.
