VERY SIRIUS (3) has been close in two runs since breaking her maiden at Mudgee. She jumped favourite on the Turf here two back before a 0.8L defeat most recently at Goulburn. Rates highly on those efforts and with a touch of luck in running, she'll be tough to hold out. STERN REMINDER (2) comes here after a disappointing run at Wagga, beaten a long way as a $17 chance during the carnival. His form prior was solid and Loy riding now is a good push. Can get back to winning ways. PLATINUM RIDGE (4) can bounce back following a disappointing run last time out. WRITTEN GOLD (1) can improve coming back to country level.
