Has an outstanding long-term top three strike rate at today's trip and has placed four from four at Cairns. Great chance to break the drought. WHIRLWIND (4) has been beaten for speed and struggled to get involved in her two runs this time in work. The third-up record reads two starts for two wins so a spike in form is anticipated. HURRICANE ROSIE (6) came from worse than midfield to record an impressive win recently over the mile at Townsville. Placed at two of three runs over this shorter trip. In the mix again off a five-week let-up. BETTA AL (10) settled near the tail then lengthened nicely to be beaten under two lengths over 1m at Townsville last start. Likely to be giving a start but watch for him late. BANCORY BAY (1) is ready to improve after two runs back from a spell.
