NFL Week 2 Player Prop Bets

Jayden Reed 40+ Receiving Yards (+102)

Packers vs. Jets (1 p.m. ET)

Jayden Reed - Alt Receiving Yds

Jayden Reed took a backseat in Week 1 as both Christian Watson and Matthew Golden had quality outings. I think there are reasons to be bullish on Reed in Week 2.

Despite a quiet 3-catch, 20-yard day, Reed still saw seven targets from Jordan Love. Reed has shown big-play ability throughout his career, averaging 13.3 yards per grab over 141 career receptions. He’s also got a career 71.3% catch rate, so he’s usually more efficient with his targets than what we saw in Week 1.

This week’s matchup with the New York Jets should be a softer spot than Week 1’s road game at the Minnesota Vikings. The Jets allowed the 11th-most yards per play in 2025 as well as the sixth-most net yards per pass attempt. While Gang Green stifled the Tennessee Titans‘ offense last week, that likely says a lot more about Tennessee than it does the Jets’ D.

Brock Purdy Under 13.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Dolphins vs. 49ers (4:25 p.m. ET)

Brock Purdy - Rushing Yds

Brock Purdy Under

The San Francisco 49ers are 13.5-point home favorites over the Miami Dolphins, and I think that makes the under appealing on Brock Purdy‘s rushing prop at this line of 13.5 yards.

In wins in his career, Purdy has run for an average of 9.9 yards per game — a significant drop from his average of 19.9 rushing yards per game in losses.

A campaign ago, Purdy started in four games in which the Niners won by more than 11 points. In those four games, he averaged 3.0 rushing attempts and 13.0 rushing yards. The yardage total in that split is heavily skewed by a 44-yard rushing day in a 13-point win over the Titans. In the other three games in the split, Purdy ran for -7, 4 and 11 yards.

There’s also a chance Purdy takes a knee or two late, which would help the under.

Jeremiyah Love Over 36.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Seahawks vs. Cardinals (4:25 p.m. ET)

Jeremiyah Love - Rushing Yds

Jeremiyah Love Over

In Week 1, the Arizona Cardinals eased in rookie RB Jeremiyah Love. But Love looks healthy after dealing with an injury in training camp, and given how electric Love is, I’m not sure how much longer the Cards can keep the bubble wrap on their new toy.

I think Love will get unleashed soon, and I’m drawn to this low rushing yardage total.

Despite a 43% snap rate in Week 1, Love got 11 carries and turned those into 41 rushing yards. He also added four targets and two catches for nine yards. The Cardinals clearly made him a priority when he was on the field, and while it made sense to ease Love into things last week, they didn’t spend the third overall pick on him so a healthy Love could play behind Tyler Allgeier.

A potential negative game script and a stingy Seattle Seahawks defense are viable concerns. But Love is capable of making chunk plays, and the Cards are only 4.5-point ‘dogs with Drew Lock expected to start for Seattle.

Jaxson Dart Over 29.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Giants vs. Rams (8:16 p.m. ET Monday)

Jaxson Dart - Rushing Yds

Jaxson Dart Over
Sep 22 12:16am UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

Jaxson Dart has been an elite rushing QB so far in his brief career, and I think Monday’s matchup with the Los Angeles Rams sets up well for him to have a big game on the ground.

Dart has averaged 36.1 rushing yards per game in his career. In the season opener a week ago, he ran for 54 yards on 11 attempts. He’s now run for at least 32 yards in seven of his last eight contests, averaging 43.3 rushing yards per game in that span.

The New York Giants are 7.5-point road underdogs for MNF. That could mean a negative game script and a pass-heavy second half for Big Blue, something that could lead to more scrambling for Dart.

Dart to rush for at least 30 yards is my favorite Week 2 player prop.
