The lengthy MLB season offers a wide array of bets via the MLB odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Strikeout props are among the popular lines offered. These bets can focus on the over/under of a starting pitcher's strikeout total or alternate lines can be utilized for more intriguing odds.

In this piece, we will dive into the stats to back our favorite strikeout props of the day across the MLB's slate. Which pitchers taking the mound could rack up Ks or which may stumble? We have plenty of tools available that can help us zero in on the top picks, and we'll use stats from numberFire's daily fantasy baseball projections, Baseball Savant, and FanGraphs.

Here are some of the most enticing strikeout props at FanDuel Sportsbook for today's games.

Please note lines are subject to change throughout the day after this article is published. All MLB odds come from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Strikeout Props

Tanner Bibee Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-104)

In his second season in the big leagues, Tanner Bibee has increased his strikeout percentage (K%) from 24.1% to 29.4%. Bibee has been on fire, reaching double-digit Ks in his last two starts. He now sits in the 90th percentile of K%.

The Cleveland Guardians are visiting the Baltimore Orioles for the first of a three-game series. Baltimore is in the middle of the league with the 13th-lowest K% and is tied for the 15th-fewest strikeouts each game (8.14). The O's have been under their season average over their last four games with 7.25 Ks each contest.

Bibee has not been under six strikeouts since May 13th. However, the stats continue to suggest the under for tonight's meeting. Bibee's slider (35.4%) and changeup (36.8%) have the highest strikeout rates among his pitches.

This is where the problem lies for the Guardians' starter. Baltimore is already one of baseball's most dangerous batting orders with the most runs in the league and the seventh-highest batting average. The Orioles are tied for the 11th-most runs above average against sliders and the 4th-most runs above average when facing changeups.

Baltimore's strikeout numbers are down, and they hit well against Bibee's best K pitches. The under is shaping up to be the best side.

Tanner Houck Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-166)

Tanner Houck has reached five strikeouts in seven consecutive outings; he hasn't totaled four Ks or fewer since May 10th. With a 2.14 ERA and 3.04 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), Houck continues to make his case for the American League Cy Young award. According to FanDuel's MLB award odds, he has the third-shortest odds to take home the hardware (+850).

The Cy Young contender's strikeout prop against the Toronto Blue Jays looks very promising. The line is set at only 4.5 with the over priced at -166. If alternate lines become available, taking Houck for six strikeouts could even yield success.

As previously mentioned, the Boston Red Sox's pitcher has consistently hit five Ks for well over a month. While Toronto is tied for the third-lowest K%, they have struggled against sliders (10th-fewest runs above average). This bodes well for Houck, whose slider has a 33.6 K%. Plus, this is his most-used pitch with a 41.8% usage rate.

Toronto is averaging 9.0 strikeouts per game over their last four compared to their season average of 7.1. I have over 4.5 strikeouts for Houck circled as one of the best strikeout props for Monday.

Garrett Crochet Over 7.5 Strikeouts (-102)

The Chicago White Sox's Garrett Crochet is carrying one of the highest strikeout props you will see for Monday's matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, the 7.5 line has good reason with Crochet blazing hot over his previous five appearances.

In his first season of being a full-time starter, Crochet has a 35.2 K% (97th percentile). Among players who have pitched for at least 40 innings, Crochet is tied with Tyler Glasnow for the highest K% in the league. The White Sox's emerging star has totaled 50 strikeouts over his last 5 appearances (10.0 per start).

The Dodgers are tied for the 9th-lowest K% and are among the top 11 highest runs above average against each of Crochet's pitches -- four-seam fastball (54.5%), cutter (26.1%), and slider (13.0%). While these numbers are concerning for his strikeout total, he still has answers.

In Crochet's most recent start, he faced off with the Houston Astros, who have the lowest K% in baseball. The Astros have even better numbers against Crochet's trio of pitches with the third-most runs above average against fastballs and the eighth-most against sliders while being tied for the eighth-most when facing cutters. Crochet still reached eight strikeouts in this matchup.

The hot streak could keep going tonight against the Dodgers. Crochet is dominating even when the stats say otherwise. With this in mind, over 7.5 strikeouts has plenty of value.
