3 NFL Player Prop Bets for Monday Night Football: Week 12, Bears at Vikings
Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy football on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.
Utilizing numberFire's projections as a guide, here are some NFL player props bets that look appealing.

Jordan Addison Any Time Touchdown (+195)
Monday Night Football has the Minnesota Vikings hosting the Chicago Bears to close out Week 12.
The home Vikings are slight 3.0-point favorites along with an over/under being at 43.5 points, which sets the table for tonight's game. The Vikings have a 23.75 implied team total tonight, which is a good indication they should be able to put up some points tonight.
Let's turn to Jordan Addison for a touchdown tonight, who has a solid role and a good matchup. Joshua Dobbs has been the Vikings quarterback for only the last three games, so let's look at that sample size to give us an accurate view of their current offense. Accounting for things when Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson were on the field doesn't help us much here.
Over the last three weeks, Addison has a 20.8% target share, 34.9% air yards share, 11.2 average depth of target (aDOT), and 16.7% red zone target share. All of those are the second-highest on the Vikings except for the aDOT, which leads the team.
Addison has a consistent role in the passing offense since Dobbs took over under center, but has yet to find the end zone. The Bears' secondary has allowed 12 touchdowns to wide receivers this season, which is the fifth-most in the NFL.
Given his strong role, especially in the red zone, Addison makes a top choice for a touchdown tonight with a favorable matchup in front of him.
Alexander Mattison Under 42.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Alexander Mattison has a tough matchup tonight and it's all about under 42.5 rushing yards.
Through 11 games this season, Mattison has been under this mark six times, so it's not as if I'm going against the grain here.
While there have been questions about the Bears' defense throughout the season, they have been very strong against the run. They have only allowed 705 rushing yards to running backs, which is the fifth-lowest in the league.
We've also seen Ty Chandler take some snaps and touches away from Mattison over the past two weeks. Yes, Mattison did leave the game two weeks ago with a concussion, but last week when he played the whole game, we still saw Chandler end with 10 carries.
Mattison's role is ever so slightly changing but more importantly, it's a really tough matchup against the Bears' front seven.
Equanimeous St. Brown Under 7.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
I know, this is an insanely low-yardage prop.
This is one of the lowest receiving props I've ever seen and I love the under. Equanimeous St. Brown doesn't see the field that often for the Bears and is very clearly not one of the primary pass-catching options.
This season, ESB has only played in four games, which has led to him playing on 44.0% of the snaps, running a route on 41.1% of dropbacks, giving him an extremely low 4.5% target share.
I should also note that the Bears have a 50.85% pass play rate, which is the third-lowest in the league. The Bears aren't passing the ball at a high rate, when they do pass the ball, ESB isn't in the top six of the team for target share, and that's if he's even on the field!
He needs to see at least one snap for this prop to be official, so keep that in mind.
