3 MLB Prop Bets to Target on Monday 6/10/24

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy baseball on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.

Utilizing our projections -- which are powered by numberFire -- as a guide, here are some MLB player props bets that look appealing via the MLB odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Please note that betting lines and projections may change throughout the day after this article is published. Also, the weather may be an issue in some locations.

MLB Player Props

Royce Lewis to Record 2+ Total Bases (-110)

Royce Lewis is back and has been driving the baseball since his return to the diamond.

The third baseman got hurt on Opening Day, missing two and a half months before making his grand return to the lineup last Tuesday. Since then, he's only done damage at the plate.

Lewis has played in six games with 20 plate appearances, hitting an insane .534 with 3 home runs, a double, and .353 batting average. It's a small sample size, but it's enough to have confidence in him following his return. I like him to Record 2+ Total Bases (-110) because of his ability to get extra-base hits.

The matchup for Lewis and Minnesota Twins couldn't be better. They'll take on the Colorado Rockies and their starting pitcher, Dakota Hudson, who has done nothing but struggle this season. It's why the Twins have the top implied total on the night at 4.70, per numberFire's heat map.

Hudson has an inflated 5.25 ERA and 5.36 SIERA. His 5.29 FIP follows through suit, citing overall problems each and every time he takes the mound. The righty also has a 1.52 WHIP, 1.02 HR/9, and allows a 35.4% hard-hit rate.

Lewis is in the driver's seat to keep his hot bat going against a pitcher like Hudson. Fire him up with confidence in this one.

Aaron Judge to Record 3+ Total Bases (+135)

There's hot, and then, there's whatever Aaron Judge is at the plate right now. He's otherworldly right at the moment and needs to be considered for tonight, which is why I see him as a good option to Record 3+ Total Bases (+135).

After having such little success in April, Judge turned it on in May and hasn't looked back. In 28 games in May, he had a .563 wOBA but has managed to be better in June. Through his first eight games in the month, he's hitting .723 with an absurd 1.859 OPS and .654 wOBA. He's managed to also hit 18 home runs in a month and change -- including three in his last two games. There's no slowing him down no matter who is on the mound.

It won't be an easy battle for Judge and the New York Yankees tonight as Seth Lugo will be on the bump for the Kansas City Royals.

With how the Yankees have played this season, they have a solid 4.41 implied total for tonight's contest against Lugo.

The right-handed starter has had a good season for the Royals. Lugo's 2.13 ERA may lead to hesitation, but a 3.79 expected ERA (xERA) paints a better picture as how he's really pitched this season. He also has a 3.90 SIERA.

Lugo is coming off his worst start of the season, allowing two home runs and five runs against the Cleveland Guardians. It's the right time to get Judge for how he is swinging alone, but with Lugo also declining, the argument strengthens.

Roll with Judge tonight; he's shown no signs of slowing down.

Jurickson Profar to Record an RBI (+180)

Jurickson Profar has been one of the best stories this season, and a big reason has been the way he's swinging the bat.

The outfielder has settled into an everyday role and his spot in the lineup has only got better as the season has gone along. Profar is in the San Diego Padres' three spot, hitting .325 with a .404 wOBA, .925 OPS, and .179 ISO. He also has smashed 10 home runs and has 43 RBIs -- three less than his total from a season ago.

Profar is in a good spot to add to those RBIs tonight. Due to that, take him to Record an RBI (+180) against the Oakland Athletics and their starting pitcher, Joey Estes.

Estes has made five starts for the A's, posting a 4.25 SIERA, 4.67 ERA. He's allowing hitters get the ball in the air with a 57.3% fly-ball rate. That's great news for Profar, who should be able to make noise again for the Padres at the dish.

For the final prop bet of the seven-game slate, I like Profar to add his 44th RBI of the season, which would also be his 6th RBI in the last four games.
