Home Run Props

Gunnar Henderson To Hit a Home Run (+420)

The Baltimore Orioles have a big 4.66 implied run total today and could hit that in a hurry with their powerful offense.

With a league-leading 62 home runs, the Orioles offer good power options up and down their lineup, so it's no surprise to see them here on Dinger Tuesday.

They are up against Chris Bassitt, who is struggling this season versus left-handed hitters with a .568 SLG, .431 wOBA, 5.66 xFIP, 2.55 HR/9, 38.3% fly-ball rate, and 43.3% hard-contact rate.

Those are some of the worst splits you'll see on tonight's slate and it makes Gunnar Henderson an obvious target.

This season, Henderson is rocking a 131 wRC+, .352 wOBA, .283 ISO, 48.6% hard-contact rate, and 35.1% fly-ball rate versus right-handed pitchers. It's basically everything we want to see for a hitter primed for a homer, so I'll add, Henderson To Record an RBI (+145), too.

Jake Cronenworth To Hit a Home Run (+600)

A great matchup and plenty of power put the San Diego Padres in a favorable spot tonight.

That matchup would be up against the Colorado Rockies, who will have Cal Quantrill on the bump tonight. To this point in the season, Quantrill has allowed a .416 SLG, .321 wOBA, 4.45 xFIP, 1.69 HR/9, and 44.6% hard-contact rate to left-handed hitters.

He's not going to be overpowering many hitters at the plate and it puts Jake Cronenworth in a spot to show off some power.

This year, Cronenworth has a 174 wRC+, .414 wOBA, .271 ISO, 34.7% fly-ball rate, and 35.7% hard-contact rate versus righty pitchers. It's truly solid stuff across the board and with the Padres carrying a 4.25 implied run total, they should be able to get there via some long balls.

I'll add Cronenworth To Record an RBI (+140), too.

Marcus Semien To Hit a Home Run (+440)

Finally, we turn to Marcus Semien of the Texas Rangers.

A 4.61 implied run total is always a good spot to look for offensive production and that's where we find the Rangers tonight. They are hosting the Cleveland Guardians, who will send out Ben Lively to the mound.

Lively struggled last year versus right-handed hitters with a .402 SLG, 1.42 HR/9, and 34.1% fly-ball rate. He has a smaller sample size this season but his numbers from 2024 are largely in line with last season.

We go to Semien, who comes in with a 107 wRC+, .167 ISO, 38.2% fly-ball rate, and 31.8% hard-contact rate versus right-handed pitchers. Semien has five of his seven home runs against righties this season, so this is the split to target him.

I'll add Semien To Record an RBI (+145), too.
