The NFL doesn’t end with the 1:00 p.m. ET slate of games. The NFL's late-afternoon Sunday slate offers a smaller group of games, but that does not mean there is a shortage of appealing player prop opportunities.

Using our NFL projections as a guide, here are some NFL player props and betting picks we like for today’s late slate.

NFL Late Slate Picks and Prop Bets Today

Michael Wilson 40+ Receiving Yards (-130)

Cardinals at Chargers, 4:25 p.m. ET

Michael Wilson was someone I couldn’t quite understand why he was going later in fantasy football drafts, and although this is a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, I think the market is underrating Wilson a bit.

Wilson exploded over the second half of last year, and I think he’s the Arizona Cardinals‘ best WR. Jacoby Brissett seems to think so, too, because Brissett peppered Wilson with targets last season. From Week 10 on, Wilson averaged a stellar 11.0 targets, 7.0 catches and 96.9 yards per game.

The Bolts are strong on D, but it’s not like they were out of this world, ranking just ninth in fewest net yards per pass attempt allowed.

Game script could work in Wilson’s favor, as well, with the Cards a 9.5-point road ‘dog, which could lead to a pass-happy second half for Arizona.

Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown (-120)

Commanders at Eagles, 4:25 p.m. ET

At these odds, Saquon Barkley is my favorite TD prop for Week 1.

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Commanders on Sunday, and Philly is a 5.5-point favorite. Not only could game script work in Barkley’s favor, the Commanders are just a good matchup overall as Washington allowed the fourth-most yards per play last year (6.0) as well as the fifth-most yards per carry (4.8) and fifth-most rushing scores (16).

Barkley torched Washington in his lone meeting with the Commanders last year, racking up 123 rushing yards and a tuddie. In 2024, he played Washington twice and recorded four total rushing TDs in addition to 296 total rushing yards.

The tush push is always an obstacle for Barkley’s touchdown chances, but he still had 24 carries inside the 10 last year, tied for the 10th-most among all players.

In a game where Philly’s offense can have a lot of success, Barkley’s TD odds catch my eye.

Dolphins Moneyline (+150)

Dolphins vs. Raiders, 4:25 p.m. ET

I’m pretty intrigued by today’s Miami Dolphins-Las Vegas Raiders game — not because I think either of these teams will be good but because I’m pretty uncertain about what to expect from both sides, which — in my eyes — makes the underdog Fins appealing.

Last year, Kirk Cousins looked washed, completing just 61.7% of his passes and posting 6.3 adjusted yards per attempt. Both of those are career-worst numbers by a fairly sizable margin. On top of that, the Raiders are expected to be without Brock Bowers, so a potentially washed Cousins is going into this game without Vegas’ clear-cut top target.

Malik Willis is getting a chance to start this season for Miami, and he earned it with quality backup play in Green Bay the past two years, completing 78.7% of his passes across the last two seasons (11 appearances, three starts). He’s also a dynamic runner, rushing for three TDs in that span.

Plus, there’s been some buzz about Miami wideouts Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas while we know what De'Von Achane brings to the table.

All in all, I think there’s a chance the Miami offense is a little better than people think, and I like them at this number.
