Will Fuller Injury Update Heightens Fantasy Football Value for Kenny Stills in AFC Wild Card Round Against Bills

"Boom or bust" is a pretty common way to describe a fantasy football player with a low weekly floor and a high ceiling. But there's, perhaps, no more boom-or-bust player than Houston Texans' wideout Will Fuller.
Will Fuller Injury Status
We've seen his highs, like a 217-yard, three-touchdown performance in Week 5, but we've also seen his production be hampered by a litany of injuries. And this week is no different, as Fuller was dealing with a groin ailment that will now officially keep him out of the Texans' AFC Wild Card Game against the Buffalo Bills.

Now that Fuller can't suit up, Kenny Stills should see a significant boost in fantasy value Saturday.
Kenny Stills Fantasy Outlook
Like Fuller, Stills has been inconsistent, but his fantasy value has been buoyed by his big-play ability. He's scored three touchdowns across his last four games, despite seeing just 4.5 targets per contest during that span.
Fuller had a 21 percent target share over the first seven weeks of the season, and now he'll be sidelined for Saturday's game, it's fair to expect a lot of those looks to go Stills' way.
It's a tough matchup, as Buffalo is the No. 5 passing defense in Football Outsiders' DVOA metric, and the Bills have surrendered the fifth-fewest PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers.
Before this season began, Bill O’Brien knew he needed to add a receiver as insurance for a Will Fuller injury.

Now, with Fuller’s status for the playoffs uncertain, Kenny Stills could be the #Texans’ X-factor vs. a stingy Bills secondary. https://t.co/VR5E9v6u1O
Still, it's more likely that the Bills' top cornerback, Tre'Davious White, will shadow DeAndre Hopkins, which would give Stills the better matchup. Fuller checked in at WR13 in our Wild Card Round fantasy rankings prior to the injury update, and Stills should slot into a similar spot if Fuller is ultimately ruled out.
