Will Fuller was trending toward a return in Week 11 before being ruled out with a hamstring injury that has sidelined him since Week 7.

He is once again expected to be a game-time decision for the Houston Texans' "Thursday Night Football" matchup with the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12, but he's trending in the right direction, improving his fantasy outlook.

Before he went down in Week 7, Fuller was having a terrific start to the year. In six games he averaged 5.0 targets, 5.5 receptions, 74.0 yards and 0.5 touchdowns, ranking 24th among wide receivers with 15.9 PPR fantasy points per game.

Unfortunately, it's not all roses for Fuller, even if he does suit up this week. He could be limited in his first game back from injury, and the Colts have held opposing wideouts to below-average fantasy production.

Things don't get easier in the next couple weeks either, taking on the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, who have both held wideouts to bottom-five fantasy numbers. Things do lighten up down the stretch though, taking on the Tennessee Titans (above-average fantasy points to WRs) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL's most fantasy points per game to the position) in Weeks 15 and 16, just in time to give you a boost in a potential fantasy football championship week.

So while Fuller's return may have fantasy football owners feeling optimistic, you could still be better served looking elsewhere in the short-term.

Assuming he plays, Fuller comes in at WR34 in our Week 12 PPR fantasy football rankings.
