The Tennessee titans will look to grab a crucial divisional win when they travel to take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has Colts slated as 1-point home favorites in what is the closest spread of any game on the schedule.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 8 AFC South showdown.
AJ Brown Fantasy
Start AJ Brown, WR, Tennessee Titans: Fantasy managers drafted AJ Brown to be a WR1 and he finally lived up to the hype in Week 7. The third-year pro hauled in 8 of his 9 targets for 133 yards and 1 touchdown. It was the second consecutive game that quarterback Ryan Tannehill looked his way 9 times. Brown should be able to keep his momentum going against a Colts' defense that is giving up the 10th-most PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs. Indianapolis has also allowed 11 receiving touchdowns to the position (T-No. 30 in NFL). Brown has WR1 upside this week and is a must-start player.
Michael Pittman Jr Fantasy
Start Michael Pittman Jr, WR, Indianapolis Colts: Quarterback Carson Wentz has started heating up as of late and it has boosted Michael Pittman Jr.'s fantasy value. The former USC standout has now surpassed 85 receiving yards and scored a touchdown in two of the last three weeks. Pittman is averaging a reliable 14.5 yards per receptions and now gets to face a disappointing Titans' defense. Tennessee is allowing the most PPR fantasy points to opposing wideouts, which includes 10 touchdowns. Look for Wentz to pepper Pittman with targets on Sunday.
Julio Jones Fantasy
Sit Julio Jones, WR, Tennessee Titans: While it may be hard to believe, wide receiver Julio Jones has been a sit candidate for most of this season. The Pro Bowler draws a favorable matchup in Week 8, but he has shown no reason for fantasy managers to trust him. Jones has yet to score a touchdown this season and is averaging a career-low 60.2 receiving yards per game. To make matters worse, he is coming off a game in which he played in a season-low 43% of the offensive snaps. It is taking some time for Jones to figure things out in Tennessee and it would be best to keep him on the bench for now.
Mo Alie-Cox Fantasy
Sit Mo Alie-Cox, TE, Indianapolis Colts: Mo Alie-Cox has worked his way into the streaming tight end conversation by scoring a touchdown in each of his last two games. However, fantasy managers have to be careful here. The fourth-year pro is averaging just 3.0 targets per game and has yet to surpass 50 receiving yards in any contest this year. The Titans have been rock-solid covering opposing TEs and are giving up the fifth-fewest PPR fantasy points to the position overall. That doesn't bode well for Alie-Cox's fantasy value this week. He is merely a touchdown-dependent TE2 moving forward.
