The New York Giants suffered yet another close loss last week and will look to rebound on the road against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Saints slated as 7.5-point home favorites, which means this one could get out of reach in the second half.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 3 NFC clash.
Kenny Golladay Fantasy
Start Kenny Golladay, WR, New York Giants: Giants' wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton both left in Week 3 due to injuries. Their statuses remain up in the air for Sunday, which leaves the door open for Kenny Golladay to have a huge game. Golladay has seen at least five targets in each of the first three games, but has yet to surpass 64 yards. That could change against this Saints' defense. Despite its dominance on the defensive side of the ball, New Orleans is giving up the 14th-most PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs. Fantasy managers can confidently start Golladay on Sunday.
New Orleans Saints D/ST Fantasy
Start New Orleans Saints D/ST: The Saints' offense is rather lackluster aside from running back Alvin Kamara, so looking at this game from a defensive standpoint is smart. New Orleans currently ranks as the top fantasy scoring defense and is allowing a minuscule 14.0 points per game so far (No. 3 in NFL). The Saints are also tied for the league lead in interceptions (6). That doesn't bode well for quarterback Daniel Jones, who has thrown 22 picks in 30 career starts. The Saints should have a field day going up against this Giants' offense and keep their fantasy momentum going.
Daniel Jones Fantasy
Sit Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants: Speaking of Daniel Jones, he is not someone to stream at the quarterback position this week. The Giants' starter has had an improved start to the season, but the Saints are giving up the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing QBs. In fact, New Orleans has held opposing signal-callers to a 61.3% completion percentage, which is the sixth-lowest mark in the NFL. Jones has proven he has the chops to be a reliable QB2 this season. However, he isn't matchup-proof yet and simply cannot be started against one of the top defenses in the league.
Deonte Harris Fantasy
Sit Deonte Harris, WR, New Orleans Saints: It's no secret that the Saints' passing game has been up-and-down with quarterback Jameis Winston at the helm. Wide receiver Deonte Harris flashed his skills with a long touchdown in Week 1, but racked up just 41 total yards in Weeks 2 & 3 combined. He only played in 31% of the offensive snaps in Week 3 and now faces a dangerous secondary duo of James Bradberry and Adoree Jackson. The Giants are allowing just 9.0 yards per completion this season, which ranks as the fifth-lowest mark in the NFL. Harris is merely a depth player right now and someone to keep on the bench.
