Two NFC West contenders meet head-to-head in Week 4 as the Arizona Cardinals visit the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Rams slated as 4.5 point favorites in what is one of the most enticing games on the schedule.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 4 NFC West clash.
Chase Edmonds Fantasy
Start Chase Edmonds, RB, Arizona Cardinals: This LA defense is no joke. However, they have been susceptible to pass-catching running backs. The Rams have given up 19 receptions for 134 yards and 1 touchdown to opposing RBs so far. All of those marks rank amongst the bottom 11 teams in the NFL. Cardinals' starter Chase Edmonds shines in the passing game as he has seen 17 targets over the first three weeks of action and hauled in all but one of them. Fantasy managers should feel confident in starting the young playmaker, especially because he is also seeing 10.3 carries per game (4.4 yards per carry).
Robert Woods Fantasy
Start Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams: Wide receiver Cooper Kupp's breakout season is allowing Robert Woods to fly under the radar a bit. The veteran pass-catcher has racked up 64 yards or scored a touchdown in two of the Rams' first three games. He is quarterback Matthew Stafford's No. 2 target, especially down near the end zone. In fact, Woods has seen at least 1 red zone target in each of the first three games. Going up against the Cardinals benefits Woods as Arizona is giving up the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing WRs. Don't overthink it and slide Woods into a starting spot.
Rondale Moore Fantasy
Sit Rondale Moore, WR, Ariona Cardinals: Wide receiver Rondale Moore has shown some flashes of speed over the first few weeks, but his role on this offense remains underwhelming. The rookie ranks fourth amongst Arizona receivers in snap rate this season and posted a dud in Week 3 (1 catch, 1 yard). Moore now faces a Rams' defense that has posted the 11th-best pass defense by Football Outsiders' DVOA rating. They have also given up just 1 touchdown to an opposing WR through the first three weeks. The 21-year-old is going to be a boom-or-bust player moving forward. It isn't worth the risk to start him in Week 4.
Tyler Higbee Fantasy
Sit Tyler Higbee, TE, Los Angeles Rams: The Rams have a clear-cut TE1 in Tyler Higbee and he has put together a solid season so far. The sixth-year pro currently ranks as the TE12 in PPR scoring leagues, but draws a tough matchup in Week 4. The Cardinals have been spectacular at covering tight ends this season and have allowed just 48 yards to the position overall (No. 3 in NFL). Arizona is giving up the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing TEs as well. Higbee's lack of touchdown upside should keep him on the bench this week.
