Week 16 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams Saturday NFL Game

Now that we're into the fantasy football championship week, every single lineup decision you make is absolutely crucial. And since we're done with bye weeks for the year, there are also a huge number of plays to consider at every position. Some matchups carry more weight than others for fantasy production, and this one is no exception.
With that in mind, here is some start 'em, sit 'em advice for Saturday's matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams.

Start Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams: Even though Cooper Kupp bounced back with six targets on a 92 percent snap share in Week 15, he appears to still be behind Robert Woods in the pecking order. Woods turned in nine targets on a 100 percent snap share in that game, and in five games since Week 10 he's averaging 11.2 targets, seeing at least nine in each contest. Even against a tough 49ers' defense, that volume means Woods is still a top fantasy option, checking in at WR20 in our Week 16 PPR fantasy football rankings.
Start Raheem Mostert, RB, San Francisco 49ers: After nearly a full season of cloudiness, the Niners seem to have found their lead back. Raheem Mostert has played north of 50 percent of the snaps in each of the last three weeks, averaging 16.3 opportunities (carries plus targets) and 19.7 PPR fantasy points per game. The Rams haven't been an especially intimidating matchup either, allowing the 15th-most PPR fantasy points per game to RBs.

Offense - TE Tyler Higbee (81.6)
Defense - CB Darious Williams (91.4) pic.twitter.com/P9Ht2CjyQF
Sit Tyler Higbee, TE, Los Angeles Rams: This may seem crazy, but Tyler Higbee's breakout could slow drastically this week. He has drawn three dreamy matchups in Gerald Everett's absence, taking on the teams surrendering the most, second-most and seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends. The 49ers, on the other hand, have allowed the third-fewest PPR points to the position and check in at second in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA rankings.
Sit Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers: Deebo Samuel just doesn't get the volume he needs to offer fantasy value when Emmanuel Sanders is healthy. He's seen more than four targets (and caught more than two passes) in only one of the last four games, most recently being held to one catch for 29 yards in Week 15. Samuel is unranked in our Week 16 rankings, putting him outside the top 36 at the position.
