The Indianapolis Colts look to get back in the win column when they visit the Houston Texans in Week 13. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Colts slated as massive 10-point road favorites in a game that is sure to have fantasy implications.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 13 showdown.
Jonathan Taylor Fantasy
Start Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts: As RB1 across PPR formats this season, Jonathan Taylor is a must-start each and every week. But, he may be in for a doozy against the Houston Texans in Week 13. Houston ranks just 25th in Football Outsiders' rush-defense DVOA metric and surrenders a league-worst 160.3 rushing yards per contest. Taylor will continue on as RB1 after Week 13 and has a chance for the highest-scoring contest of the week, again, against the lowly Texans front seven.
Tyrod Taylor Fantasy
Start Tyrod Taylor, QB, Houston Texans: There's not many fantasy relevant options on the Houston Texans roster aside from Tyrod Taylor and Brandin Cooks. Taylor will be worth a start at QB this week against a Colts defense that allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs. Backup Davis Mills even managed 243 passing yards against the Colts in their previous meeting with Taylor sidelined thanks to injury.
Michael Pittman Jr. Fantasy
Sit Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Indianapolis Colts: Michael Pittman Jr.'s fantasy performances have been all over the map this year thanks to his targets ranging from 3 to 15. Indianapolis clearly understands the weakness of Houston's rushing attack and threw the ball just 20 times in their previous meeting. Pittman saw just 3 targets and 2 receptions in that contest and the 10-point spread proves Indianapolis should get out to an early lead and play keep-away with the running game.
Rex Burkhead Fantasy
Sit Rex Burkhead, RB, Houston Texans: The Houston Texans running back depth chart went from four prominent names to just two with the departures of Mark Ingram and Phillip Lindsay. While that should mean good things moving forward for David Johnson and Rex Burkhead, that's not going to be the case in Week 13. Indianapolis allows the sixth-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs this season thanks to a rush-defense that rates third in Football Outsiders' DVOA metric. Burkhead will have opportunities throughout the rest of the season, but stay away against the Colts' formidable front seven.
