The Arizona Cardinals will aim to stay atop the NFC Conference when they go on the road to take on the Chicago Bears in Week 13 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Cardinals slated as 7.5-point favorites in a game that is sure to have fantasy football implications.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 13 NFC showdown.
James Conner Fantasy
Start James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals: If one thing is certain in fantasy football right now, it is that running back James Conner is going to get a ton of work out of the backfield. The former Pitt standout has seen 67 opportunities (carries + targets) over the last three weeks and turned them into 336 total yards in addition to 5 touchdowns. It's no surprise that Conner ranks as the No. 2 RB in fantasy scoring during that span. The Bears are allowing the 11th-most rushing yards per game this season (118.5), which gives Conner an opportunity to run wild on Sunday. He can be started with confidence in Week 13.
Darnell Mooney Fantasy
Start Darnell Mooney, WR, Chicago Bears: While there isn't much to like about this Bears' offense right now, wide receiver Darnell Mooney is quietly becoming a reliable fantasy option. The second-year pro has hauled in 13 of his team-high 30 targets over the last three weeks for 285 yards and 3 total touchdowns. Mooney has been the go-to target whether it is Andy Dalton or Justin Fields at the helm. The Cardinals are a tough matchup for any skill player, but it's notable to point out that they have allowed 13 receiving touchdowns to opposing WRs (T-No. 27 in NFL). Mooney is a great FLEX play this week and comes with WR2 upside.
Zach Ertz Fantasy
Sit Zach Ertz, TE, Arizona Cardinals: Fantasy managers may find it hard to bench Zach Ertz this week after he scored a pair of touchdowns in his last game played two weeks ago. He just has not been very consistent, though. Ertz had failed to top 50 receiving yards in any of his three games prior to Week 11 and saw only 1 red zone target during that span. The Bears have been average against the pass this season, but they have been shutting down opposing tight ends on a weekly basis. Overall, Chicago is allowing the eighth-fewest PPR fantasy points to the position. Starting Ertz doesn't come with much upside on Sunday.
Cole Kmet Fantasy
Sit Cole Kmet, TE, Chicago Bears: Tight end Cole Kmet is coming off his best PPR fantasy performance of the season in which he racked up 65 yards on 8 receptions (11 targets). However, he draws a nightmare matchup on Sunday. The Cardinals are allowing the second-fewest PPR fantasy points to the position and have allowed an opposing TE to score a touchdown just 1 time this year (T-No. 1 in NFL). There are a ton of streaming TE options with much more favorable matchups available in most leagues. It'd be smart to find an alternative to starting Kmet this week.
