The Philadelphia Eagles head on the road to take on the Atlanta Falcons at 1 p.m. EST during Week 1 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Falcons as a 3.5-point home favorites, meaning it could come down to the wire.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this NFC Week 1 clash.

Dallas Goedert Fantasy

Start Dallas Goedert, TE, Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles enter the 2021 season with a strong duo at the tight end position. The team was unable to trade Zach Ertz, which leaves fantasy managers wondering what role Dallas Goedert will play. The fourth-year playmaker should take a step up in 2021 and draws a great opening matchup. In fact, the Falcons gave up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends last season (9.47 average). Atlanta also allowed 10 touchdowns to the position. Goedert has a shot to become a favorite target of quarterback Jalen Hurts. He is a must-start player this week.

Mike Davis Fantasy

Start Mike Davis, RB, Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons made a move in the backfield during the offseason by signing veteran Mike Davis to take over the starting gig. The seventh-year pro is expected to take on a majority of the carries given there is very little depth behind him. Davis averaged 3.9 yards per carry last season and racked up 373 yards as a receiver. His ability to make an impact all over the field should come in handy against and Eagles' defense that gave up 125.8 rushing yards per game in 2020 (No. 22 in NFL). This is a great matchup for Davis.

Miles Sanders Fantasy

Sit Miles Sanders, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: Miles Sanders has proven he is capable of taking on a workhorse role on this Eagles' offense, but the team has yet to give him that chance. The third-year ball-carrier averaged 16 total touches per game during the 2020 season. His outlook doesn't look much brighter heading into Week 1 as he faces an Atlanta defense that allowed the fifth-least amount of fantasy points to opposing RBs last year (15.14 average). Keep in mind that Hurts is likely going to take away carries from Sanders as well. All of this adds up to Sanders being left on the bench this week.

Matt Ryan Fantasy

Sit Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons: Matt Ryan is being drafted as a high-end QB2 in many fantasy football drafts. That value is perfect for what the veteran signal-caller bring to the table. He can jump into QB1 territory with the right matchup, but that simply isn't the case in Week 1. In a game that is expected to be decided by less than a touchdown, the Falcons may rely on a revamped rushing attack to push the ball down the field. Ryan averaged just 18.34 fantasy points per game in 2020 and now faces a Philadelphia squad hungry to get the season started with a win.
