The Kentucky Wildcats will be gunning for their second-straight bowl win when they take on the Virginia Tech Hokies in this year's Belk Bowl. It won't be easy for the Wildcats, however, as Virginia Tech is currently a 2.5-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

If you're looking to place a wager on this game, it's always wise to take into consideration what some industry experts have to say first. With that in mind, here are some expert predictions for the 2019 Belk Bowl between Kentucky and Virginia Tech.

Belk Bowl Predictions

Bleacher Report
Jake Rill, of Bleacher Report, gave his against the spread (ATS) predictions for every bowl game, and he expects the Hokies to cover up to a 3-point spread.

Washington Post
Neil Greenberg and Matt Bonesteel, of the Washington Post, are going in a different direction than Rill. Both WaPo experts are picking the Wildcats to both cover the spread and win the Belk Bowl outright.

ESPN
Adam Rittenberg, senior writer at ESPN, believes that the Hokies defense will be overwhelmed by Kentucky's No. 4 rushing offense (274.4 yards per game), predicting a 29-24 result in the Wildcats' favor.

Overall, three of the four experts highlighted above are taking Kentucky to both cover up to a 3-point spread and win outright, while one is on the other side, picking Virginia Tech to both cover and win.
