The Minnesota Vikings are in the midst of a 1-5 start to the season and have not shown many signs of improvement. For a team that made it to the divisional round of the playoffs just last year, there figures to be some frustrations in the locker room as the team continues to underperform.

As the November 3rd NFL trade deadline approaches, it makes sense that some of the veteran players are beginning to angle for trades as they want to play for a winning team.

The season has gone just about as poorly as possible, but that doesn't mean the Vikings should tear everything down and start a complete rebuild. The Vikings do have a multitude of aging contributors that might be better off going to other teams for the remainder of the season, though.

Names that come to mind here are players like veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph and veteran safety Anthony Harris. As solid contributors to the team for a number of seasons, it would be tough for the Vikings' front office to cut ties. However, if players begin asking for trades, they may have no choice.

This'll be an interesting situation to watch as the trade deadline approaches. The Minnesota Vikings would have the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft if the season ended today and their best course of action may be to see what their veteran players want to happen moving forward.
